I have the distinction of being part of a small group of people called “Old Fort Myers.” I was born and raised in Fort Myers and have a very strong sense of community. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College but all my brothers went to University of Florida. Go Gators! After college I received a job opportunity in Tennessee but chose instead to come back to Fort Myers and make it my home. I spent 15 years as a Manager at the Florida Store Burdines and 4 years as a regional Manager for a distribution company headquartered in Atlanta.
I love to give back to the community whenever I can. I am on the Board of Directors for the Edison Festival of Light as well as the Edison Pageant. I have been the Relay for Life Chairman for Downtown Fort Myers for two years and am still actively involved. I also am actively involved with the Rotary of Downtown Fort Myers and recently received the Rotarian of the Year Award. I participate in many local charitable organizations (Lee County Schools Scholarship Foundation,Child Care of S.W. Florida as well as the Alliance of the Arts , Florida Repertory Theatre, Goodwill and the Pace Center for Girls of Lee County).
I have seen the town grow from a small beach community to the thriving city it has become today. I have some great stories of old Fort Myers and would love to share them with you. I hope that I can help you find a home in the town I am so proud to be a part of.
